Chemical-free potatoes
Nicola, Coliban, Russett Burbank, Desiree and Royal Blue chemical-free potatoes are grown annually. No herbicides or pesticides are used and weed control is undertaken by scuffling between the rows. We have a five year rotation period for our potato paddocks to avoid disease build up. Other crops grown in the rotation include red aztec maize, turnips and rye grass, while barley, oats and millet will be incorporated into the next cycle.
